WhatsApp ads launching – Europe to follow in 2026

When Meta acquired WhatsApp, many assumed ads were just around the corner. Few expected it would take 10 years. Now it’s finally happening. Last week, Meta announced ads are coming to WhatsApp, in formats similar to those already available on Messenger. The rollout will occur gradually over the coming months, but Europe will have to wait until 2026.
